 This decoy and spot and stalk antelope bowhunt is an exciting alternative to water hole hunting, with close to the same success rate. You do need to be a decent shot, capable out to 40 yards, and be able to perform under pressure. When an antelope buck charges in on the decoy it can test even the calmest of hunters' nerves. Sometimes the antelope will decoy in to almost touching distance.

We hunt the antelope by driving or walking around looking for ones in a good position to stalk and decoy. It can take a while to find one in such a vulnerable position, but when we do you have a good chance of getting a close shot. The guide usually operates the decoy and the rangefinder, leaving you free to concentrate on your shot.

The antelope live in the same area as the mule deer so if a big Mule Deer is your main goal, you can hunt antelope when you run into them and after you take your deer. Of course after you see some of our trophy antelope they may become a main target of your hunt!

We normally run these antelope bow hunts as a combination hunt with mule deer. If you are interested in a standalone antelope bow hunt we will be more than willing to arrange one.
