This decoy and spot and stalk antelope bowhunt is an exciting alternative to water hole hunting, with close to the same success rate. You do need to be a decent shot, capable out to 40 yards, and be able to perform under pressure. When an antelope buck charges in on the decoy, it is quite easy to get rattled.

Additional antelope bowhunting information
We hunt the antelope by driving around looking for ones in good positions to stalk or decoy. It can take a while to find one in such a vulnerable position, but when we do you have a good chance of getting a shot. The guide usually operates the decoy and the rangefinder, leaving you free to concentrate on your shot.

The antelope live in the same area as the mule deer so if a big Muley is your main goal, you can hunt antelope when you run into them and after you take your deer.

We normally run these antelope bowhunts as a comination hunt with mule deer. If you are interested in a stand alone antelope bowhunt we will be more than willing to arrange one.
